Welsh Lovespoons

The custom of carving and giving Welsh Lovespoons originated in Wales hundreds of years ago. Originally they were carved by young men and offered to the girls they loved as tokens of affection. Over the years, as the lovespoons became more elaborate and decorative, they have become collectables and given for many special occasions.

INSPIRED BY THE BOOK OF KELLS

Celtic Artist Kevin Dillon has rediscovered the
Same mediaeval techniques used by Irish Monks
to create the “Book of Kells” Kevin crushes
semi-precious stones to create his own paints.
He meticulously hand scripts each page and
illuminates each with gold leaf.

Now you can bring one of these beautiful
reproductions into your home.
