Sheila Fleet Double Celtic Knotwork Band, Ladies
R23
The ancient Celts saw life as a continuous flowing entity, with no beginning or end. Much of their work is depicted by spirals or knots to represent everything as linked, a symbol of eternity. Inspiration for knotwork comes from the designs found in the 7th-9th century illuminated manuscripts such as the Book of Kells or the Lindisfarne Gospels. The knotwork band ring ‘s shape is a symbol of continuity as is the continuous interlacing in the double Celtic knot found on this ring. Sterling silver rings are usually kept in stock. All other rings are special order from Scotland. Yellow gold takes 4 weeks. All other metals take 6-8 weeks. Sizes 4.5-9 are 7mm wide; sizes 9.5-13.5 are 7.5mm wide. Gift boxed. On special order rings, a 50% deposit is charged when the order is placed with the balance charged upon shipping.
