Luckenbooth China & Glass |
|
A family business from Moffat, southwest Scotland who produce fine bone china and glass products. The Luckenbooth symbol is a traditional Scottish design dating back to 1700. The heart pattern was developed as a token of love and takes its name from the Luckenbooth (locked booths) around St. Giles Kirk in Edinburgh where the charms were sold.
The pieces in the Luckenbooth Glass and China range carry traditional Scottish and Irish designs, most notable being the famous Scottish thistle design exclusive to Luckenbooth. All pieces are handcrafted. We fell in love with Luckenbooth's beautiful thistle pattern bone china during trips to Scotland and feel it is the finest one we have seen representing the national flower of Scotland.
