Pewter frame based on the designs of Archibald Knox (1864-1933). Knox designed a variety of objects for Liberty of London, ranging from textiles to metal, incorporating Celtic design from his youth on the Isle of Man. Two of his famous lines for Liberty were "Cymric" silver and "Tudric" pewter. This frame incorporates stylized Celtic knotwork on a antiqued pewter background, holding a 3 1/2" x 5" photo.
